The petition tracker has been updated based on the two sets of petition releases that we’ve had so far in 2020. When and how these cases will be decided, in light of the pandemic, is an open question.

These two petition releases have a little something for everyone. Interested in Cooper v. Berger, part 49? We got you covered.  Or maybe you needed part 49 of the series on just when, exactly, municipalities can charge impact fees? Stay tuned. Wondering how much blustering is too much blustering for First Amendment purposes? We’ll find out. Or maybe you were betting that the Beasley Court’s appetite for all things Batson had been sated? Wrong.  Are you a state employee wondering whether your retirement benefits are safe? You’ll get to wonder a little longer.

Besides these petitions allowed, are there are any interesting pending petitions out there? Let us know!
