After three years of exemplary service to our State, Matt Sawchak will step down as Solicitor General effective March 31, 2020.  General Sawchak–soon just “Matt” or “Professor Sawchak” again–has represented the State with aplomb in state and federal appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of North Carolina and the United States Supreme Court.

Approximately a year ago, we posted about a one-year fellowship opportunity at the N.C. The Office of the Solicitor General needs help.  Solicitor General Matt Sawchak and his dream team represent the State of North Carolina in our state and federal appellate courts.  The Office recently announced the creation of a fellowship opportunity, with applications due by July 1, 2017.
