Part of our mission here at the Appellate Practice Blog is to collect resources for appellate practitioners and make us all better at what we do.  To that end, I noticed in the North Carolina Bar Association’s “e-bar” newsletter a few days back a link to the nclawblog.com website.  The blog includes a number of insightful articles dealing with appellate issues, including some tips on appellate briefing authored by Elon Law professor Alan Woodlief and a number of articles dealing with standards of review, preserving error, and other thorny topics authored by appellate specialist Doug Ruley.

Happy surfing!
